Verifying that someone is who they say they are. We check the details a person has given you against independent records and enquiry: identity, stated address history, education and employment claims, and whether anything on record contradicts the account you have been given.

For personal matters this is usually the method behind the answer rather than something you buy on its own. It supports a loyalty check, a matrimonial enquiry or a missing-person case. We will tell you before we start whether surveillance is likely to answer your question, because it is not always the right tool and it is not cheap to do properly.

Locating someone who has gone missing or is no longer contactable. A family member who has left, someone who has cut contact, or a person whose whereabouts are needed for a legal or family matter.

We work from whatever you have, however thin: last known address, phone numbers, workplaces, associations, the circumstances of the disappearance. Where a police complaint exists or should exist, we will say so. Private enquiry runs alongside that process, it does not replace it.
